In the 2017 NBA Playoffs, OKC forward Andre Roberson shot 3/21 (14%) from the free throw line in a first-round matchup against the Rockets
Has there ever been a worse free throw shooting performance in the playoffs from a player.
Him and Ben Simmons would be a formidable duo against both opposing offensive players and the rim during free throws
The media is basically doing one of three things with the Ime Udoka scandal.
Some are drip-drip news like Shams and Woj and creating confusion around a complicated story.
Others are talking about it really vaguely. I’m thinking of podcasts like Zach Lowe and Ramona Shelburne. Or Matt Barnes saying he got the real story and it’s worse than you can imagine.
And then there are the media people like Bill saying how fans need to stop speculating because it’s hurting women in the Celtics organization.
It’s now been days and people like Barnes claim they know the real story. There have to be people in NBA media with a good idea of what happened by now.
Is it too much to ask for ESPN or the Ringer or someone else just to write a clear story that explains what happened and put all the rumors to rest?
There's only 8 premier NBA franchises, they're way better and more prestigious than the other 22. And one of those 8 is the... Phoenix Suns?
Unless one of the criteria for being one of these ambiguous top 8 franchises is "for sale", I don't understand how anyone would claim Phoenix is part of that elite circle. They don't have a title, they don't have a storied history, I'm not sure how desirable Phoenix is as a destination for free agents or for business contacts.
I'm not a Sixers fan, but making up this crazy top 8 thing, including the Mavericks, the Knicks, and the Suns, but excluding Philadelphia is absolutely insane.
Would a team of four players formed by Michael Jordan, Lebron james, Tim Duncan and Shaquille O'Neal beat a team of five high above average NBA players?
When I say "high above average players" I mean players such as Khriss Middleton, Cj Mccollum, Domantas Sabonis... I mean players who maybe they are not superstars, but they are absolutely really great players.
