Bitcoin is the currency of the Internet: a distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Unlike traditional currencies such as dollars, bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin. As such, it is more resistant to wild inflation and corrupt banks. With Bitcoin, you can be your own bank.

anecdotal here but a few days ago out of the blue I received a tip for one of my comments: the total was about 2.28 USD worth of Bitcoin Cash. This person had no moons and was not trying to sell anything. Literally just received a message saying I've been tipped. I searched through this person's history and it was just some dude/gal that is interested in cryptocurrency no doubt is a big believer is bitcoin cash. The goal I found out was just to spread the word for the technology.

My point is this, before bitcoin was a thing we had people building bitcoin faucets, trying to buy things like pizza and what not. These are the folks that made bitcoin what it is today. I'm sure none of them was thinking they were going to be millionaires/billionaires one day; it was just based mostly on an idealism.

Nowadays most people want something -- even airdrops is just another mechanism to drive in crowds and ultimately revenues. However, I do feel that there are still people out there that is doing this mostly for tech and an idealism and I think this is a good sign and also proof that the whole cryptocurrency movement is real and still strong.

Here is proof below. I'm not going to reveal who this person is else they will get bombarded with unwanted direct messages.

from there I just entered my bitcoin cash ( BCH) address and received my first BCH.

No strings attached; the person did not even contact me or ask for anything. I DM and had a quick conversation and that was it.
